Hi, Charles.

Thanks for reading!

The No. 3 can do anything it sets its mind to.

As for the Green Light, it's simple but deadly:

Equal parts Bombay Sapphire, Cointreau and freshly squeezed lime juice

The story: Mary's book club was reading Malcolm Gladwell's "The Tipping Point" and decided that it would be fun to "tip" something in the Baltimore market. Mary and Shop Boy were, ahem, experimenting and had come up with a very worthy cocktail, a bastardized version of an old drink called The White Lady (with lemon juice).

We decided to try to tip it. But we needed a backstory, and a name. The Green Lady didn't quite work. But what about The Green Light? Yeah, yeah. So there's this frustrated screenwriter out in Hollywood who finally gets a project "green-lighted" and asks his favorite barkeep to invent a drink to mark the occasion.

We'd go to bars and begin ordering it, explaining to the stumped bartender how it is made. Then we'd have our friends go in and order it from time to time, and see if it caught on.

Bingo. Soon, we were walking into the Brass Elephant (R.I.P., sniff!) to see a line of strangers sipping Green Lights. And it only expanded when someone someone knew got a little item about it placed in an in-flight magazine on flights to Baltimore.

I could use one about now.

You've made my day! Love the song choices too.
Alas, the child is now overdue, so I have plenty of time to collect the songs from the list that I don't already have. It has to make an appearance soon though, we have projects lined up to print next month and I'll need to extra set of hands :)

In my heart right now, I am baking you a devil’s food cake, white icing with coconut. And wishing it would taste like your Mom's.

That'll teach you for being so polite. Although the world really does need a lot more people like that.

As for things going wrong while being moved, have you come across this sad sight?: http://www.briarpress.org/15398

What a nightmare.

It's a Hampden success story! Who says Industry can't coexist alongside twee gift shops?

By the way, this is one of my favorite lists yet.
